As a non Muslim, even I know that honor killing is a cultural practice, not a religious one. There is absolutely nowhere in the Quran that condones this act. In-fact, most Muslim scholars agree this is in fact Haram.

Thank God this girl was saved...I wish Amina and Sarah Said got the same justice in 2008 when their father killed them...instead he was allowed to flee the country and run back to his hometown. He was only arrested in 2020 in Texas after it was found that family members were hiding him. The 911 call of those sisters broke my heart...to hear them say their father shot them🥺🥺🥺

This is the true Islam. I was born a Muslim in a Muslim country, and I heard and saw women being killed for this reason and less, and the government allows this in the name of honor and to purify his reputation. He killed the girl who brought him shame. I thank myself for immigrating to Britain and living in a free country that respects me and respects my choices as a woman.
