I wanna see what she actually went through in her like childhood because I know there’s some hatred not just because she’s a demon it’s because she’s the reason why her mother is dead and she blames the child in the situation Rumi we can see a little bit at the end of the movie, but maybe the sequel will help but your art is so pretty at the end of the day she was just a kid not her fault for being half demon but I don’t think Celine understands that fully

I love Celine as a character (not necessarily as a person, since she discourages being emotionally in-tune with one's self). It's fun to speculate about her and her thoughts because we know so little about her despite the fact she was essential to the movie's message of acceptance. (My opinion here): Which is interesting, because she completely contradicts that by being the personification of rejection. Celine totally cares about Rumi... with conditions. She's a perfect representation of the complex family dynamic in which your family loves you, but cannot accept who you are, no matter how much they want, or think they do.

this reminds me of a fic (its Omegaverse) and Celine basically made Rumi use hard core scent and heat surpressents cause she sucks and Rumi has her mother's scent, it's really good and highly recommend
