Rumi’s mom and Gwi-Ma are in love. Celine tried to pull them apart and ends up killing Rumi’s mom on accident. Gwi-Ma thinks both Rumi and her mom die. Celine takes care of Rumi out of guilt for what she did.

did anyone else notice that Gwima's flame is a purple colour, and that the marks he gives the demons are also purple? Rumi's mother had black hair, so whoever her father was, is likely to have purple features like Rumi's, just like gwima?!!. also Rumi is the only one in this universe who is born with coloured hair. think about it- when we see that picture of Mira and her family, she is the only one who has pink hair, it's pretty safe to assume that as the 'rebellious child's she dyed it herself. the saja boys are demons, jinu probably gave them coloured hair when he gave them human forms (if we use the theory that they're the guys in the photo at the clinic, then they all had natural hair too). also it's not uncommon for kpop idols to dye their hair frequently. Rumi is the ONLY person who has natural purple hair, as well see her as a young child. I don't think this is a coincidence, not even the other demons have coloured hair!!?

"her father in the concept art looks kind, opposite of gwi-ma's" BUT HEAR ME OUT, the man was inlove and he changed his ways for Rumi's Mom. Celine tried to stop the both of them, but killed Rumi's mom amidst all of it. Gwi-Ma grew hatred and continued his ways again grieving the loss of his love, whilst thinking Rumi and his wife also died.

others are saying gwi ma is a flame and it's not possible but what if he became a flame when he thought he'd lost his love and child so the anger and bitterness drove him to want revenge and that's why he hates hunters also what if the only reason Celine want rumi to hide her marks is so gwi ma never finds out she survived

It has to be, because if it was just any demon her, demon side peobably wouldn't have been that strong so she wouldn't have affected the honmoon, she also would have heard Gwi-ma / not be able to resist him (or smthin)
