The alcohol we drink is wayyyyy stronger than what is obtainable outside Africa. I drank Heineken in Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. It knocked me off. 2 days later, i attended World Music Day. Guess what? I drank the same beer. Around 3 bottles cos one wasn't enough. It was there i drew my conclusions.

This is so true, back in my village we have have more tarvens than schools, we don't even have a library that time, underage drinking is ridiculous, kids dropping out it's not okay at all

On Alcohol….Africa had its own but when the “colonizers” came, our own became illicit brews and hence to date we have the like of Diageo controlling a big majority of the alcohol market and continues to play a part in politicizing and suppressing local enterprises. This is no different from Religion/Spirituality where African was labeled Witchcraft in favor of what was brought in (but that is another story)…..
