My husband had a 'mini stroke' just before lockdown due to stress. He went to see a professional after that to find the cause of his anxiety and stress. This psychiatrist said he suffers from 'battered spouse syndrome', but it is his CEO.

They wanted us to treat employment like a marriage. And we’ll do anything for our marriage/career. Then they treated us like SW and only wanted a transactional relationship. And now they mad when we do the same to them.

Started a new job. Working my hard to provide for my family. 2nd month at the job, I was number 1 in sales. I sold 47% of the products for that month. 17th place out of top 20 in state. Boss pulls me in the office. I don’t think this is working out, you might not be a good fit. All because of a misunderstanding/ miscommunication. I’m still at the job but my mentality has shifted from I love my job to being fearful of losing it. So now I suffer from anxiety and stress while working vs just doing the job.

I work for a company, and I had access to every part of the company from an electronic standpoint and stored media. I’ve never stole anything in my life. But I did install their visual studio and learn to code and start my own software company. I did borrow their Employee manuals and modify them for myself. I regret nothing.😂

My job asked me to drive 2 hours to come pick up a new computer. i replied, No you can mail it to me. I have another position to be at in 30 min. took them by surprise & I loved every moment of it.
