Bro i had this issue on a 3 week shoot in Idaho I got lucky and got it off but I bought these rubber pieces called like filter wrench or something from amazon .. phenomenal

I used a oil filter wrench, works wonders. Get the rubber band style… latches to it. Most of time its the air pocket between the lenses. Temp changes and creates a seal.

cold. metal expands and contracts in heat and cold. cool it down but not frozen. and then try again. sucks about it breaking.

The struggle is real. I have used the rubber band trick especially the bands that come on broccoli! They also to make soft jaw wrenches for this that look like huge plastic channel locks
