It may be easier for you to transport him in a mug or jug if he’s biting you as it prevents incidents like that from happening and ensures both of your safety 🫶🏻

Mój chomik ugryzł mnie tylko raz, ponieważ dopiero przyzwyczajał się do mnie i do nowego lokum. Gdy chciałam jej posprzątać łupiny od slonecznika wybiegła z domku i ugryzła mnie w palec ale od tamtej pory jest najspokojnieszym chomikiem jakiego miałam i jest przekochana.

My dwarf hamster has never bit me, he just doesn’t like hands and will always run away, which fair enough, I use a container to move him around when I have to, he knows at this point if the container comes out, it’s time to crawl inside so it’s an easy transfer for both him and me

When i first got my hamster she would stil bite. But i just talked to her everyday, and everyday i gave her little snacks out of my hand and i would feel her out of my hand. With time she will get used to you, try to feed out of your hand and try to hold her in her cage only if its for one or two seconds. They will get used to you:) give it time

My rabbit used to bite when we put our hands in her cage and we couldn’t figure out why, she stopped as she realized we were only putting our hands in there to feed her and let her out 😭
