some fitness reminders to carry with you through this journey 🤍 1. Please stop calling it a cheat meal, you are not cheating yourself. Calling it cheating continues to perpetuate the idea that there is such thing as “good” and “bad” foods. All foods can be considered good or bad depending on how much of it you’re consuming. If you need to “cheat” then the likelihood is, it isn’t sustainable. 2. 2 people can do the exact same workout, eat the exact same and still experience different results. Please don’t think that because you’re following EXACTLY what someone eats, doing the EXACT same workouts that you’re going to see the EXACT same results. So many factors come in to play when determining how your body will progress from genetics, age, hormones, daily activities etc. You and an individual person with individual needs. 3. You don’t need to track to see results: If tracking calories results in your becoming obsessive and having a toxic relationship with food then this isn’t something I’d recommend you do. There are so many other ways to be mindful of what you eat aside from tracking. Your mental wellbeing should always be your number one priority. 4. Carbs are not the enemy. They are fuel. They are you friend. You NEED carbs. 5. This journey will be a lot easier  enough sleep & keep the protein high. Yup, we need to get the basics right first. 6. This journey isn’t linear. There will be peaks and throughs. Some days will feel piss easy and other days will feel incredibly hard. That is just the way it goes.
