Kinda like a tornado, your response time is limited and it's better to stay where you are and take shelter. People who are looking for an answer will never be satisfied. The alert system is already a cry wolf system. People look at the warning and think, I'll be ok. Do you hear what he's trying to say? Can you imagine evacuating hundreds if not thousand people in an hour or two? People need to stop asking, it's a natural disaster, we are human, and Texas needs to heal.

NWS came out July 3rd and warned everybody, so every surrounding county and mine too preemptive measures, to avoid this, yet Kerr didnt. there's literally no excuse and its amazing how theyre trying to point the finger.

NWS issued a watch 12 hours out in a warning 3 hours before the river started to rise. they had time, they just didn't do anything.
