there are people that have jobs and need to go to the food bank I think people act like if you're going to the food bank you shouldn't have a car you shouldn't have a house you shouldn't have anything but it's like no that's not how any of that works

I work full time. I worked 34 days in a row. and my rent is 2600$ not including utilities. my county's wind power is sold out of the state so I don't even benefit from it... or the hydropower I'm surrounded by. my family if 3 lives a moderate life and we pay upwards of 250 a month for my power and water. uggghhh we need food banks.

Oh, Linda. 😬 My mom always had a state job and STILL need assistance for us kids. Besides, benefits stimulate the economy, food banks included.

My grandma runs a food bank, my aunts, cousins, and I volunteer there all the time. MAJORITY of the people we see come in are EMPLOYED🙃 GOD FORBID someone use the resources that are available to them..🙄

There was a time when families in the USA could work 1 job and make ends meet. That time is not now. If people are mad that social programs exist, get mad at the corporations & billionaires that create an environment where families can't survive anymore.
