omg lmfao.. memory unlocked.. I was the sacrifice when my mom was going through nursing and they needed a "patient" I was like 7 and 8.. I remember being bandaged.. I had to flail.. I had to be rowdy so they could practice.. I had to be invalid.. I remember her saying u cant move this patient is so sick they cant move and we have to feed them.. I ate lots of pudding from all the students that day. pretending to be invalid trying not to giggle as i got pudding.. just laying there.. best day ever lol

I got to “kidnap” my own son for the hospital to see how fast everyone responded to a code pink. Took them way too long and everyone got in trouble. But lessons learned and a lot of fixes/training

where i grew up thrre was a vet school and like once a year they would have kids go in and be vets for the stuffies and like wear scrubs and stuff and bandage them

when my mom was going through nursing school my mom used my dad to practice inserting an IV and taking blood, he was always very happy to help cus then he got to look at the pretty nurse working on him 😭🖤

I remember a friend of mine being in massage school when I was pregnant and she needed a “subject” for her classes on prenatal massage - I was in heaven! 😂 I volunteered for anyone who needed a “subject” throughout both pregnancies and couldn’t have been happier

My mom went to law school, her final for a class was a mock trial and I had to pretend to be her client on trial for manslaughter. I had to spend an hour getting absolutely GRILLED by her and opposing counsel 😭

My mom used to have her students call me pretending as if I was an angry customer or one with lots of questions. I got lots of compliments after they encountered their first customers and were prepared😂

My parents were firefighters and when we were kids, they’d use us for drills. We’d hide in the station, they’d turn off the lights, set up tables and stuff as obstacles, and then they’d have to find us before the timer ran out and we “died” lmao

I remember being the sacrifice when my dad was in nursing school; then my kids were the sacrifice when I went to nursing school! The main difference being I got injections of saline and my kids got head to toe assessments…we don’t do injections on minor sacrifices anymore
