I usually am in 100% agreement with the things you post but it was more than one mistake. It was something that she said more than than once and was corrected and instead of holding herself accountable… she tried to justify it and didn’t learn from it because she proceeded to do it again later. Do I think she deserves death threats or bullying for it? Absolutely not. But she definitely deserves to be held accountable. She’s an adult. Even my teenage sister wouldn’t make such a mistake after being corrected. TikTok has become a place where people feel that they can freely hate someone and threaten someone and destroy someone’s life without consequence and it’s weird and so chronically online and needs to stop. But the internet has its perks too … she most definitely deserved to be kicked off of the show given that someone else was kicked off for the same reason and I hope she learns from this experience. And moving forward, I hope her friends were real to her because she will need her people to be there and I think as a collective we can empathize without being weak or complacent.

🔥 Take imo, it is binary. But also, it’s really important to understand (I believe) that content creators have full will and power to control their pages. Anyone that looked at their past tweets and sees that word would think.. hmm that’s not okay to say… so it’s on the content creator to manage that correctly.

No one deserves death threats and I hope the best for Cierra’s future. However, she 100% said it with malice. She was describing an unwanted facial feature that she wanted to fix and when someone DMed her politely to explain it to her she was close-minded. (Btw I love you girl this is just my opinion 💖)

I will say I don’t understand the sheer amount of thinkpieces defending her and feeling bad for her saying shes not being given a chance for accountability when we need to at the very least WAIT and see if she will apologize properly…

i agree some people are using this incident to take it overboard but i will note one of the reasons why this situation is so upsetting is bc she was called out before but she completely disregarded it. that was her chance to address it & not let this come back up again. but she didn’t & this time around it’s on a larger mass of audience so even people who this isn’t even affected from are using it as their chance to be malice & overdo it
