how can you say treatment coordinator are not a producing role? without them filling your schedule, you would literally have no production. 2nd a DDS would be at a loss without their DA. all jobs are valuable in an office to make it run efficiently.

I will argue that assistants are producing. If we weren’t placing fillings and making temporaries( and ALL the things), the Dr wouldn’t be seeing as many patients and $$$.

Everyone in the office are producers. You wouldn’t have a schedule without front desk. You couldn’t see as many patients as you do without an assistant.

My doctor does any day we hit a certain amount of production he does a $50 bonus for every person on staff for that day. We average 5 or so bonus days a month.

We do a monthly bonus option but also they have a chance of a gift card bonus weekly! It’s team bonus so they all get the same amount. $25,50,75 or 100. They love it!

My office does bonuses too. I think it’s great for morale. It’s split between the hygiene, assistants and front office. Not the dentists but everyone else!

My office has a goal of 80k each month and we get 1k if we hit it. Office staff is just me and front desk lol. We hit our goal Monthly for the past year ( private practice , FFS) plus bi weekly lunches or happy hour etc.

I’m an assistant and I produce with Zoom whitening cases and making Cerec crowns. Also, we take x-rays that produce $$-just like the hygenist. Glad you’re spreading the bonus across the board!!
