PLEASE READ THIS CAPTION BEFORE YOU GET OFFENDED: Teaching someone to box like it is only fitness while pretending it is real fighting is like sending a soldier into battle after teaching him Instagram drills. You would not teach someone to drive by showing them parking-lot turns and then hand them a bus in a hailstorm. Both are beautiful skills until the stakes become people’s lives. That is the difference between “PLAY BOXING” and real boxing. Boxing is a gladiator blood sport first. It is rhythm, discipline, and defense before anything else. The table stakes of real boxing: defense before the punch, defense during the punch when possible, and defense after the punch. Fitness boxing is powerful. It inspires people, builds confidence, and gets people moving. Even if you do not know much, nothing feels better than landing a punch!!! I have made a living promoting it and I love it. But real boxing, the kind under the lights with another human being trying to hurt you, has life and death consequences if you train wrong. Most fights without a referee would end in death. When you skip defense, when you teach counters without context, when you promote flashy drills that ignore fundamentals, you are not just posting content. You are shaping habits. And those habits will show up in a fight. The wrong habit does not just mean losing. It can mean brain trauma, permanent damage, or worse. So post. Share. Inspire. But be clear about what you are teaching. Fitness or fighting. Fun or survival. The difference matters more than likes or views. It matters for people’s lives and their families. Remember: real boxing is hitting, but more importantly, it is not getting hit. Respect to everyone building the culture. But let us also protect it. #boxing #boxingfitness #Fitness #fyp #jakepaul
