omggg it’s not just the being dressed well or speaking properly because many bw do this and don’t get called “whitewashed”. the term isn’t associated with appearances it’s attached to mannerisms and ways of living that don’t align with your TRUE self. and the idea that this is just who you are is aided by your environment and societal pressure. the fact is that minorities just don’t live the same experience as white people and you can’t feel completely whole trying to live a life that wasn’t designed for you. but you understand that because the tiktok was made,, even down to the sound! genuinely no hate live your life your way!!
