These lentils need to be soaked first at least overnight if u are making them in the rice pot. The rice will cook faster than the lentils. Soggy mush.

In Mexico, we have similar type of rice blend caled, Mezcla Inca. It includes jasmine rice, chia and amaranth. Amaranth is an ancestral super food in Latino communitjes.

This comment is not accusatory, just want some clarification. According to google: White rice: 4.3g protein/0.6g fiber. Lentils: 12g protein/8g fiber. Quinoa: 4 grams protein/3g fiber. Which is only 20.3g of protein and 11.6g of fiber. Are these specific types of rice/lentils/quinoa that are higher in certain macros? Or just generic?
