It’s healing to vent about not being supported. Most Admins do support…Teachers need to free the bad experiences.

Agreed! While venting and having feelings validated is important, if there are issues that are causing teachers to leave your district, show up at a board meeting and be involved with the decision making. Im going to be a little cheesy when I say this but, be the change you wish to see. If you try and can’t get anywhere, then move on to somewhere else where you will feel more respected. At least you attempted to make a difference before writing off the situation altogether.

Different people prefer different types of listeners. You and I prefer a listener who is solution-oriented. Many people instead want someone to commiserate with, or someone to think on the bright side, or even someone who just makes them feel heard

Sir you can say the same thing about educational leaders..........you can't play both sides...there are 2 types of educators. 1. Those that support teachers 2. Those that are teachers.
