It's crazy how the sirens and quick action in Comfort saved lives while Kerrville struggled. Safety first, always!

Taxpayers didn't want to invest in the siren system.

WAY different typography in Ingram and Hunt (where most deaths occurred) than Comfort. Also, he is talking about a timeline over an hour when wave of water hit Hunt, TX.

Texas has had a Republican monopoly for 30 years. The lack of infrastructure is costing lives.

Probably cause they were far enough down river that they were able to get warning it was coming un like kerrville which is where it started

If camp mystic was charging 5000 per camper X 600 campers X 2 semesters that is 6 million a summer- and they didn’t invest in alarm systems.

What sirens are they talking about. The only ones in Killeen are for tornadoes! 🌪️not flooding! Our roads closed today for flash flooding.

Please go through the minutes of the meetings at in Kerrville because they definitely didn’t. They had the money from Biden and Obama about 5.1 million and never used it. You can literally hear the judge laughing.

In 2021 they were given over 10 million dollars of non earmarked funds through a FEMA grant..... they chose not to use the funds for the siren system and sat on it . The funds were eventually used by the sheriff's department.

They had 2 more hours of warning that a wall of water was coming. That is why. Kerrville notified them as soon as they knew that the river was rising. People upstream of Kerrville didn’t know until it was too late.

This is what is done in rural MN during tornados. Police and fire drive to resorts, camps and remote places that may not hear sirens. It is important.

The rivers head waters are right above hunt and kerrville. There's no town upstream that could give early evac warnings for hunt. It would've been too late and flooding already while people evac INTO the flooded road.

It’s impressive to see the town of Comfort handle the evacuations so effectively. The importance of timely alerts and community coordination cannot be overstated.

It's crazy to think about all of the money we have put into our stadium and up keep plus the golf course renovations in the past few years... Let alone the contract we signed for "more income into our community" a year or so ago for the lithium battery sites in the hill county!! oh, also, the new police station where they wanted to spend an outrageous amount of money on one to two water fountains and/or tribute stations!
