There are no/extremely limited teenager community spaces. Gilbert needs to invest in the same team hangout program like the town of Queen Creek. At the new community center by the pool, Queen Creek teenagers can hang out and play video games open till midnight.

I raised my 3 who are now 30-22-18, I didn’t allow them to get out of pocket stayed on them as they grew up.. Keep your kids inside that is not old enough to be hanging out parents want their kids to grow up so fast, driving at 16 is to young so they think they are old enough to do and act a certain way.

This isn’t new - this was a problem way back in the 90s in the parking lot of the Taco Bell on Val Vista & Baseline - the real root of the problem was & is that even when GPD were called (bc often they weren’t) they never did anything, tried to bury it or it would go nowhere/was never punished bc parents always swooped in to get their kid sweetheart deals that was rarely more than a fine & maybe community service- hold kids accountable, hold their parents accountable & stop pretending like this is just some “trend” that we can just wait until it passes
