dude, it's so awful, genuinely. like, I have a decent amount of money saved, but if I want to buy a video game I have to wait months or even YEARS for it to go on sale for a price that feels affordable. and there was this very large, beautiful field near my house that I used to spend hours with my friends in, and it was recently bulldozed for housing and is nothing but dirt now. it's genuinely miserable right now and there's nothing I can do about it

in my old town the only things that were for "fun" was the dollar store, and a playground over 2 miles away I was only allowed to go to once or twice, and now where I live the only place there is, is a library, but I haven't gone yet since I have to watch my sibling,

as a teen, instead of begging my parents for a game, I beg my sister (I got the game) but yeah, when I went out for food with my family, just three of us, the food was like, 78 dollars, when I feel like 35 at most would be fair. random thing, there's no where to go for teens, idk if it's been like that forever but it sucks,

When I was 14 I was able to go into target by myself and NOW my friends who are 17 are required to have an adult with them to go into TARGET!! ( I am legally an adult)

there are no teenager spaces nowadays, neither outside or on media, everything that targets young adults also targets teenagers which basically forces people to act more mature, like clothes and makeup
