My mom was told that she had to pay a certain amount within 48 hours or steps were going to be taken. She went to sars offices and they were aware of the amount she owed but she had never been called or sms'd by them. So these people are aware of amounts that sars owe to you or that you owe to them.

We’ve had this for 2 years! Contacted my mom, dad, myself and my husband because we owed them money. Went to SARS, got a clearance certificate, and sent it through, blocked the numbers and havent had them call since.
