Totally agree. Ive fallen in loved twice in my life and even tho we end up breaking up ive never felt like i lost my time or energy. To the contrary, those experiences actually built me and shape me to be a better person and partner for who is to come. So totally worth it.

I loved an avoidant, we got married, and she ended up abandoning the marriage, and even though we live 5 minutes away from each other now, we never run into each other, we go to the same grocery store, same gym, same gas station, so I took it as a sign that her purpose in my life was already fulfilled, and I’ll continue on my healing journey
