Private pay clients are lucrative but they all have a shelf life. Most ppl can not sustain 12 hours a day 7 days a week, financially. There is definitely medical care been provided to that person within their home if that many hours are required. So this is not a non medical home care business model. Also, any company with only one payor source is not sustainable. You’re a nurse so you’re familiar with billing insurance for your services. So you’re more than likely waiting for payments and having to tussle with insurance companies on a daily basis right now. No sane person would pay you privately for something their insurance would pay for. There’s other ways to sell that don’t include lying to ppl about an unlimited money source in private pay.
