people often dont realize if there are brown recluses in the area they will be in your home. most just dont see them. we've lived in our home for 2 yrs and just started seeing them but there are sticky traps from the previous owners and they are covered in them.

I think it’s so funny seeing everyone say Move. I’m actually moving there in October and I’m moving to a place with a lot of land and a lot of trees. Hopefully I won’t see too many but it is what it is.

We live in rogers and bought our house in 2016 for 1/3 of what we could sell for today! There is no way we can afford a different house.

Thank you for answering my question☺️I totally understand what you’re saying. I was only asking because from the very few videos I’ve seen it seemed like an ongoing problem. But if you’re taking care of it and it’s not a big concern then I understand why you wouldn’t make the push to move obviously. Every person has different limits and, for example, I have arachnophobia so if it had been an ongoing problem in my home for years, and I couldn’t get a handle on it and make it go away, then I would have to move just for my own mental health.😬 but even then, I understand that sometimes it’s just not possible financially, or logistically. Thank you for sharing ☺️🙏❤️

Personally the housing market it trash right now. You’re lucky to have a home. Everyone telling you to sell is understandable, but you have to do what’s best for your family long term and financially. You could sell and not find anything worth buying or in your price range for over a year with how things are going.

I can’t even look at that trap! I was bit on the ankle and it landed me in the hospital for a week! We took a sleeping bag out and made a pallet for movie night NEVER AGAIN will I not check everywhere

I’ve heard Bentonville is really nice! You’re like me, I live in the heart of SF Bay Area and even tho some things about our house/neighborhood aren’t ideal, it’s not easy or even possible to just up and move.

Honestly I had a bug problem. A raccoon died in our attic and gave us fleas. I sound crazy but I think it gave me more ptsd than when I had cancer. We got our house in the low mortgage rate era and can’t afford to sell and buy.

Girl I totally understand. We inherited my late grandparents house and it needs work. But it’s also infested with recluses. We’ve spent thousands of dollars over three years. Still an issue. Moved twice and both homes also have recluses. Not as bad but still there. It’s just a new reality for us. People that don’t live in these states don’t understand. My daughter’s school has them and many teachers thought they were a different species at first. The school is 100 years old and they are everywhere. My aunt is a librarian and it’s worst during summer months in her space.
