My great grampa used to log commercially for a company on the pigeon river. He was from Norway. Early 1900s, then he moved south a bit to Schroeder.

I was on an Outward Bound trip in September, 1978. We portaged our canoes and supplies for 2 days - so grateful to see the Pigeon River. One of my proudest achievements of my life!
