Fun fact: Piracy isn’t illegal. Watching movies for free from pirated websites is completely legal. Ethically questionable but legal. However, distributing pirated content can be illegal. That’s why torrenting pirated material is illegal (if you get caught), because it’s not just downloading, but also sharing.

Streaming services were only popular when it was easier than piracy, now since everything is spread out across like 10+ services (even a single show with seasons on different sites!!!) piracy is now easier and quicker

I think this issue is temporary. The industry is destroying itself. Television has become anti-American, anti-white, and woke. We're waiting three times longer for a third of the episodes. Whole movies have been filmed on those little devices everyone keeps in their pocket. We should be getting more episodes more often with modern technology. I have gone from watching an unhealthy amount of TV every day to maybe about 3 hours a week. My TV exists as an extra large overpriced digital clock. It's going to get to the point where everyone has already downloaded all the old stuff, with conclusions, that they like and there won't be anything new worth pirating.
