Fun fact: Piracy isn’t illegal. Watching movies for free from pirated websites is completely legal. Ethically questionable but legal. However, distributing pirated content can be illegal. That’s why torrenting pirated material is illegal (if you get caught), because it’s not just downloading, but also sharing.

Streaming services were only popular when it was easier than piracy, now since everything is spread out across like 10+ services (even a single show with seasons on different sites!!!) piracy is now easier and quicker

I own 5 streaming services and haven’t been able to watch one of my favourite shows because it’s been unavailable in my country for a couple of years now. The CD version costs 1/4 of my monthly paycheck and I do not own any kind of CD player in my house. At this point I would love to do it legally but i’m considering piracy.

The problem is that whatever you want to watch is always accessible on the illegal platform. They should make the streaming services with access to every movie ever produced, to be successful.
