@vancouver.town: This beach is just 40 minutes from Vancouver, and honestly, it feels like a secret getaway 🌊⛰️ I went to Lions Bay Beach and couldn’t believe how peaceful it was — clear water, mountain views, and barely any crowd. If you’re looking for a chill spot to swim, catch the sunset, or just escape the city for a few hours, this is the move. Pro tip: parking is limited, so go early! 🚗 Follow @VancouverTown for more hidden gems and things to do around the city ✌️ #LionsBay #VancouverSpots #ExploreBC #HiddenGemsVancouver #BeachVibes #WeekendTrip #VancouverTown #BCViews #SummerEscape #localtips #thingstodo #vancouverlife

Lions Bay doesn’t want visitors, they only have a few parking spots for non residents.

There's a rumour there's a serial killer living around the area. they've discovered multiple dead bodies near the beach.

This was my favourite place growing up. I spent every summer here visiting my cousins just up the road. The residents like to keep to themselves and guard their beach fiercely. It sucks, but it’s an OPEN beach. They think they have owners rights to it. 🫤🤷🏻♀️

you need a parking pass i went there and almost had to leave because no parking a nice gentleman gave me his pass just to put on my car so we could use the beach.

there is no uber service from Vancouver to Lions Bay, the bus Ride is usually an hour and a half from Downtown Vancouver to Lions Bay but the beach is amazing and so worth it

Been there a few times. It’s very small, difficult to find parking, sometimes police close the road for crowd control and the sand has ticks or sands bugs that u can’t see but only feel the random bite. Not very inviting lol but nice view

Went there twice this summer. One time it was covered in goose poop and the other time the beach was closed due to ecoli 👌🏻
