There is one sole exception to the Sora/Nort economy of Kingdom Hearts and that exception is Aqua. Aqua didn't actually get Norted (just corrupted by Darkness briefly with no external Nort influence), she isn't "connected to Sora" in any important or tangible way, and she's the main character of Birth By Sleep that affects the major plot beats including . . spoiler break . . Terranort losing his memories to become Apprentice Xehanort (beginning the chain of events leading to KH 1 and 2), Ventus being locked away in the Altered Land of Departure (turned into Castle Oblivion, which is important for Chain of Memories and 358 days/2), defeated Vanitas-Ventus on the outside while Venus fought internally to prevent the X-blade from forming (preventing Xehanort's original plan to summon Kingdom Hearts), and being the main catalyst for the events of Kingdom Hearts 3 (her rescue being the driving B-plot that Riku follows until Sora assists).
