Replying to @Melo My phone died while I was recording this once so my thoughts may be scrambled. Just tell me if there is anything you are confused about. Also, to remind people, T1 fans were upset with T1 for the lack of transparency. It took weeks before we got confirmation of a 6 man roster where Guma was essentially perma-benched as he played no matches or scrims. Our only reasoning for why Smash was playing was that they wanted to try some shit. If Chovy got benched tomorrow by a rookie and was just on the bench for weeks, 100% geng fans would be questioning the org and want answers. So let’s not act like T1 fans aren’t just super weird/different for requesting transparency as to why all this is happening. Also, if you want to compare it to Guma and Teddy, they both played matches and scrims for several months (every other week) before Guma was chosen as the starter. Here, Smash was just the starter and Guma couldn’t even try to fight for his spot with scrims because he wasn’t playing in scrims. He could only play ranked and climb (he got into top 10). Plus, during LCK Spring, which is not a whole-cares competition, Smash was playing instead of Guma. We all know Guma is better, so why wasn’t he playing at all? It doesn’t make sense. Rookies are not owed spots for them to build experience as well. That’s what the lower leagues are mainly used for and what Smash had been doing. This whole situation just doesn’t make sense and again coaches can fk up #gumayusi#guma#t1#league#sktt1
