Surely the portugese government is to blame for the housing crisis, tourists have spent billions over the years going to Portugal where has all that revenue gone surely it could have been used to make the housing situation better

My cousins moved to Portugal from Dallas. They shipped their 2 horses and 3 dogs to join them. They are loving it. And it looks divine!! Enjoy!

Ref the negative comments. We have a house in a WestvAlgargarve town. For 15 years the British, Irish, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian - even a few Germans have been welcomed. We are 41% of the the local,population living side by side and valued by Council and originals alike. The feeling is mutual. Or it was. Then the Americans arrived. I’ve worked and lived in the US for 50 years and elsewhere in the world. I can see what;s coming - also with Israelis nd S African. The blending in will go I’m very sad to say. So we’re selling up. It’s been a great 15 years - thank you Portugal.
