And that’s what the US wants. Us off burth control so we can populate the country. So they make this stuff horrible so we get off of it. They’ll take the L with the lawsuit but ultimately they still won.

I took the depo shot every 3mo for over a decade. When I looked into the lawsuit, I was curious if they would pay for scans to make sure I didn't have any abnormalities or to make sure it was caught early. I was told they wouldn't allow me to be in part of the study/lawsuit because I didn't already have a brain tumor. Wow. What a qualification to need first. Not to prevent...but I guess maybe that will come once the lawsuit is settled. So sad for everyone involved. Also, my Dr is a firm beliver that the shot caused my fertility issues.

I remeber when Depo came out when I was a teen and all the girls started getting it. All the girls I knew had extreme side effects. Wild mood changes, mass weight gain, and all kinds of random autoimmune issues.

I’m not against suing big pharma but I also believe you have a case against your doctor. If doctors question these medications more perhaps these things wouldn’t happen.

My NP told me if I didn’t take it she wouldn’t see me…I left not only her, but the entire clinic and now drive an hour away. Nope. Not happening.

I had Nexplanon for three years. Something wasn’t right I went into my doctor and she looked at me with a straight face and said you don’t want children right my uterus was cracking. It was drying out my uterus.

I was on lo loestrin fe. for 4 years. got off of it and gained 50lbs and have worst periods now than I did when I was on it for the heavy periods. now I have fibroids on my uterus and can get pregnant

I swear I have some nerve damage from the nexplanon, it was horrid. The Depo I stopped after 6m thankfully. But still haven’t had a cycle after 4 months. OB thinks it may have triggered early menopause based on my age any other factors.

Is there a birth control that stops your period? Its why I get depo. My periods were so heavy and so insanely painful every single month. I had to go to the hospital for pain relief multiple times

I was drivin insane by my Maraina IUD. I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia and headed twards being institutionalized. ALL MY DR’s REFUSED to accept it could be my IUD I was medically gaslight for 5 YEARS!! I finally demanded it taken out and what do you know all my symptoms resolved within two months!! I tell anyone who will listen don’t get birth control

I actually loved the Depo shot. It specifically can help with endo and it changed my life but I went off of it and changed to the IUD and I’ve hated my uterus ever since ahha. I get cysts and terrible cramps and I still have a period but the depo shot got rid of my cycle and made my life so easy- no mood swings, felt happier, etc

Is implant on and nexaplon the same thing because I had implanon for 8 months and it was literally killing me and gave me pcos. I took it out and now I have to be on the pill or I bleed literally nonstop. 😭😭

Dr’s never tell women that this form of birth control is only supposed to be short term use only. Like 6mo and then you’re not supposed to take it anymore. Birth control is now candy to be given out by doctors and both women and medical staff no longer care and pay attention to the “known” side effects. This info has been available for decades!

My wife developed a seizure disorder while on this birth control. No she is off of it and the seizures went away.

Its so depressing, I've been on the pill since I was 16 bc of pcos, I cant spend the rest of my life with the cystic acne or bleeding every other week but doctors act like birth control is the only answer...
