AuDHD makes it so hard for me to have conversations. I yap and change topics in an instant. However pls don’t interrupt me I have to have your full attention while I spew everything I know about Elden ring. (It’s a real problem I’m working on)

My friend group now shouts Bookmark! when someone else is talking so when they are finished with their sentence they can ask what the bookmark is so we can finish thoughts.

I grew up in a house of spicy people. I did not realize that neurotypicals cannot carry a conversation while listening to another person add in at the same time. talking over each other just showed we were interested in the conversation. I love when people interrupt

my whole family is like this. family dinner is a screaming fest not cause we're angry but because we are all trying to talk over one another. it really shocked me the first time I had dinner with my bfs family and there were full on moments of silence
