Hey Big Dawg, of the political myths I attempt to debunk, this is the biggest one. 2016 Sanders supporters fell in line. They overwhelmingly voted for Clinton. Sanders endorsed Clinton, and his primary voters canvassed and phone banked for her, and Clinton won the popular vote. They simply hated doing it, were very vocal about it, and many of them were very misogynistic; in 2020, and I worked that race, Idek how Sanders or his supporters are a factor in 2020 or 2024. There were a bunch of new and highly disaffected voters added pre/post 2020 who just really hated that Biden and congressional dems only made good on like 35% of the legislation he ran on

Blaming Bernie Bros is pure fiction. 80% voted for Hillary... more than Hillary voters gave Obama in ‘08. She lost because she ignored swing states and millions of Obama voters flipped to Trump. Kamala never won a primary or even one single state for thay matter, was handed the VP spot, then given 90 days to run a presidential camapign after Biden stepped down. That’s not on Bernie supporters that’s the DNC running bad candidates, ignoring the base, and blaming the only people who ever built a real movement. hey so in 2016 Hilary ran a sub par campaign, and 2020 we voted for Biden even though no one felt good about it.. and your losing the point that Trump winning was more of him positioning himself as a outsider. the democrats have been running the same playbook for decades, misogyny is a smaller piece of the pie of losing, its more that people don't have faith in the party and to be frank the party stands for nothing and seems to be leaning more right.. so if im a voter, do I vote for someone that's saying they'll shake up the government or vote for republican lite candidates.

I voted for Clinton. But I realize now that the Bernie Bros were right. They weren’t wrong, we were. We should have demanded the DNC drop Clinton for cheating. We should have all chosen to write-in Sanders if needed. Pro-Corporate Establishment Democrats are never even going to try to make positive changes. They even work actively against anyone who does.

Hillary had a 20 year smear campaign ran on her by Faux News and Centrist Media. she was unelectable. it wasn't Bernie's fault. it wasn't the Bernies Bros fault. she should have never ran. she knew she could never win an election. she was rescued by Obama to prevent her from Losing her seat in the senate because she was on track to lose it. she was unliked. she was never gonna win an election let alone a general election. and that's not even getting into how the DNC cheated Bernie in Iowa. Her only chance on winning was Republicans not falling for Trumps lies and they did.

What do you mean “trusted us?” The nominees in both 2016 and 2020 were not the lefts! This is incoherent political analysis. Y’all were just so uncomfortable with any of the left’s rightful critiques of the Harris’ campaign refusal to truly address Israel/Gaza, the protection of queer people, or several other issues. The “leftists” have been screwing us all over since 2000 with their need for their perfect candidate instead of practicing some harm reduction.
