You should try Serbian sweet Dumplings. They are made with Potatoes & semolina & filled with whole plums and then when they‘re cooked they are rolled in a mixture of streusel, sugar & cinnamon. They taste incredible! 😋😋😋

as a german, i have a hate-love relationship with Knödel the texture is very weird but the gravy gives it a nice kick but personally i couldnt eat it every day

It is with potato and Potatoflour, you make a dough and cook it. As a german i love that he liked it but I am surprised he could deal withbthe consistensy it can be sticky.

There's 2 different kinds of German dumplings. One is very neutral in flavour, fluffy and white. The other is like a log of stuffing. The first we had with vanilla sauce and blueberries, so that ones meant for sweet addiditons but is versatile. The stuffing one is meant for gravy align with some meat, goulash for example

it's cooked in the gravy. that's what really gives it the texture. so basically boiled bread I guess. a favorite with my kids. 😂
