I saw someone else make the assertion that if we want a free Palestine, a Free Congo, etc then we need meaningful liberation in Europe and its colonies. I think there's a lot of room for the left to organize the alternative power systems and care systems necessary to meaningfully at least stand as alternatives to capitalism, imperialism, and systems of oppression in ways that "the West" hasn't believed possible for a few decades
