what makes me sad is that boomers didn't have to work their lives away. they created a world where that's what we have to do now. Boomer men based their value on their work and their work alone.

But what else are we supposed to do man? I’m a disabled army vet that was destroyed mentally, physically and now financially. I have to feed my family, give them toys etc so we have to work. And no one helps us. Hell I regret serving because they don’t help at all

back home years ago there was a local driver hopper bottom big Kenworth w900 beautiful truck, me and him would get on the CB when we ran into each other or seen each other at the local shop, and I said why haven't you given up driving yet he said if I sit down I'll die, he said I outlived my wife my kids and all my friends I have nobody, that hit me pretty good,, I said brother if it means anything you got me in my family, the guy at the shop ended up with his truck when he passed, he was in his 90"S and got around great & Could Still Put The Young Ones Too Bed with a tuck in, we both had the same first name, he was a Good O"Boy Y'all"s💚👍🏻👍🏻🥰
