@cspanofficial: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday said his country “still has to finish the job in Gaza” before there can be peace in the region. “The president and I believe in the doctrine called peace through strength. First comes strength, then comes the peace,” he said following a meeting with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on Capitol Hill. President Trump has been pushing for a ceasefire deal, and while Israel and Hamas have largely backed its main tenets, both sides have raised issues with the U.S. proposal. “There are opportunities for peace that we intend to realize.
