My grandfather was a German born Holocaust survivor, who lost his citizenship in the 1930’s when they stripped people of birthright citizenship as his father had immigrated from Bessarabia in 1913 for a better life. Before he died he wrote a letter about his experience of being interned as a farm labourer and living in hiding. One specific story he mentions that had always stuck with him, was of being served meatballs stuffed with maggots, and getting threatened with being sent to a concentration camp if he refused to eat them. He was only 15 at this time and was living at the farm instead of at home with his family. The farm owners wife had purposely made the food with maggots because she thought it was entertaining to watch people eat them—she viewed him more as a dog than a human. The intentional dehumanisation and humiliation that he faced was arguably more damaging than the years he spent in hiding and the beatings that he received because there was a personal element to the targeted behaviour—one that forced him to wonder how anybody could treat another person that way. I’ve spent the last 2 years writing about my family’s history pre-Holocaust and I’m genuinely so worried about the number of parallels I’m seeing with what’s currently happening in the US. I will be keeping these people in my thoughts Xx

cons will attempt to con anytime they have the chance, and let's just be honest they have ac in there and most prisons and jails in the US definitely don't have it. I'm not saying that there isn't some messed up stuff going on in there I'm just saying that maybe the face value of the complaints isn't very high.

Cruelty by design? No one forced tens of millions of people to come to another country without consent. We wouldn't need makeshift deportation centers if there werent so many people to deport. Ironically this is part of the due process yall have been screaming about.
