I wonder if the lettering and the grout being white is making it not stand out as much - ik you wanted them to match but what if the lettering was dark green and the background white?

I think you could try black grout and perhaps a different font style/size? Something that is a bit more forgiving and wont make you cut the tiles so small

I think going with a design that small is going to be hard no matter what. Matching side tables perhaps? I got a cute tripod steel base for the 15” mosaic I made at a class.

It would work as long as you outline the letter in black. What’s making it look weird is the letter is not separated enough from the background bc of the jagged edges of the cut tiles and gaps in the grout. It makes tbhe letter hard to “read” visually. The letter is getting lost in the background. Skip the gold for sure!
