Yeah that’s not the drivers fault. The permit office is supposed to know all the const on route and plan the route to avoid things like this.

Permit office and the DOT aren't always on the same page. Had an extremely oversized load sit outside of my town for a a half a day trying to figure out how to get around construction. They ended up take a two lanes highway with a two lane road and this was with 2 DOT cars helping pilot.

honestly at least in this video I don't see the issue. this sort of thing happens at times in certain states. it's why they ask for under clearance sometimes so if they ask don't dare lie.
