problem with haste is that it's not a good game... it's just an idea, played the demo and that's about it, if going fast is enough then cool, but don't expect good levels or story or whatever, gameplay gets old after 1 hour. the other games are mostly well regarded and amazing... and NOT at all underrated, people don't know the meaning of the word, those games have overwhelmingly positive reviews that is the opposite of underrated.

i haven't heard enough people talking about nine sols, a metroidvania similar to hollowknight, it has a great story, the best art style i've seen so far, a fast and well made combat system(even if some bosses took a while to beat), and i cannot express how much i love the soundtrack, i highly recommend it, especially now that it's on sale on steam

Slay the Princess! Abby Howard worked on that game! She's amazing! Amazing art work! She has some great Graphic Novels and a Dinosaur educational book! she's an amazing illustrator! Look up Dinosaur Empire her floofy freathered dinosaur drawings are beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️

Slay the Princess is so cool, it’s the first visual novel like game that I’ve wanted to 100% The artstyle and both sooo beautiful and gnarly at the same time, it scritches my artist brain wonderfully. Also loving the hidden plural representation! I don’t think it was intentional, but it’s still really cool

Similar to Haste... Run for the sun, you pilot a solar ship and you have to hurry because once the sun sets, you loose power and crash.. Visually they are like day and night, run for the sun is only geometric figures but is difficult to find the correct route to keep going without loosing the sun

I think it’s an underrated game because I’ve only seen 2 content creators talk about is dredge. I’d say it’s a fishing horror game (no mascot horror/jumpscares)

Just beat Haste recently the ending could use some work but omg the gameplay is awesome My reccomendation for this list would be Potionomics, its just a chill game with amazing queer representation, you brew potions, sell them at your shop, and build a deck and play cards and strategize to get more money and to beat boss fights, the game also has romance options which reminded me a bit of stardew valley
