my nali man told me that when he was younger he and my great grandpa got into a argument he said that he took his dads 84 dodge out to between rockpoint and dennehotso and got drunk with his cousins and he went to go use the restroom and he said that he smelt something he described it as rotten mutton he said there was somthing walking around him but when he got done he walked back and when he was walking back he found prints in the dirt he said it looked like sheep and coyote prints he walk back to his cousins and got his dads keys truck and left when he got between shonto and keyenta he daid there was foot steps in the truck bed and taping on his passenger windows when he got home he told his dad and they had a ceremony for him he said he still hears sheep bleating sometimes

This Story is FALSE! You want to know why? In Navajo Culture, the Skinwalkers are always Unknown and they can't be known bc if someone knows them and says their name 3 times, the Skinwalker dies. The guy already knew the 2 guys and Skinwalkers keep their identity a secret for fear of death.

not just Gallup. Worked with a couple at Pizza Hut, they went to visit the girl's family towards Shiprock, they encountered something like this guy described, it was running beside their car, following them. it was scary hearing them tell. They were very freaked out.

That’s the same with my uncle too. He always tells me not to go to the lake at night because there is witches and what we call hobus we have school walkers There will mimic one of your friends. If not, they’ll scream at night. Those are the things of my uncle told me that’s why he say to be careful. Have a a knife or a weapon with me.

Before Gallup banned Sunday alcohol sales, I used to make runs to either Mustang south of town or Dead Horse. I always drove the back roads, Bread Springs to west of Gallup to truck stops and Dead Horse to Coyote Canyon, back roads. Goddamn the Skinwalker stories I have. Of course, they never appear until several beers.
