It’s not “sticking to the past” it’s conserving traditional values this country was built on. Tariffs aren’t a problem, look at the statistics. If anything we’re benefiting from them. The real gold here is foreign investment but alone just in tariff revenue he’s hit over 100B on the road to atleast 300B by the end of the year. American investments are at an all time high. Which further benefits American owned business and creates tons of jobs. I could go on and on for days. There’s no proof the economy has gotten worse since Trump took office, there’s tons of proof it’s gotten better.

Conservativism isn’t necessarily sticking to the past. Its conserving the values and ideals of the Constitution and Founding fathers. You can thank Conservative Republicans for ending slavery, voting for womens right, and civil rights, etc
