Haley is correct…. All those funds are going away especially now that Medicaid is being cut. I’m retired now but worked for Presbyterian health plan & they have been discussing closing hospitals since 2020, Cutting everywhere they can. NM doesn’t pay doctors very much at all, they don’t want to come here.

All of this. I live and work in AZ and there are some NM health systems that are the same in AZ so during the pandemic, when outlying hospitals were full or not equipped pts were being flown not to Albuquerque but to Tucson… $$$$. Annnnnd… how did these people get back home you may ask? The hospital gave zero fucks. Figure it out. Find someone. This is going to be like the pandemic on steroids.
