She took a raise and also added 9 new rolls in her office that make $130000 a year when the 33 make something around $35000. They want to have a pay that accounts for the raise in inflation and she just won't.

When the mayor gives in, I hope the trash service and city workers or whoever, cleans up the low income areas first. Like you took your time giving them fair wages mayor so they're gonna take their time getting to you too. 💙

I got to meet the New Orleans sanitation workers who went on strike a couple of years ago. they were employed through a temp agency and paid like $20 to $30/h no bennies. when they organized, the temp agency took them off sanitation work

From a Sr Comp professional that is a typical total rewards study. What is failed is to consider market wages for workers for their roles (base pay). Total value doesn’t always equate to total win.

Corporations really started pushing the “total compensation” shtick over the last decade to justify underpaying workers and it’s absolutely BS. They, as the employers, have to offer many of those benefits, but they pretend it’s a bonus
