@raheltheamazon: SKILLS for BEGINNERS: Skin-the-cat & German hang 💪🏼😌 This will duo is something that I teach to calisthenics beginners at the beginning of every season, followed dragon flags, elbow levers and pullovers. These moves are the foundation to other dynamic and static skills in calisthenics and will help the new athlete or enthusiast build up relevant shoulder and core strength. STC can be split into perfectly accessible elements to practise individually in order to build up strength in the shoulders and mobility in the hip to execute these with ease. 👌🏼 ✅ Where to start: Set up rings shoulder or head height, internally rotate your shoulders (think of rounding your back when upside down ie bad posture), rise up to your tiptoes and either pull your feet off the ground or jump. From there, glide through the loop and you’ll find yourself back to standing. 😊 💪🏼 Make this harder over time by slowing down the movement, keeping your legs as straight as you can and touching down as gently as possible. I also encourage you to try tuck holds and incorporate reverse bicep curls into your training as early as possible to build up your arm and lat strength to strengthen your pulls and German hangs. I have more skin the cat tutorials on my page, so head to the Workouts and Tutorials highlight now! ☺️ #caliwiththeamazon #calisthenicstutorial #calisthenicsuk #calisthenicslondon #calisthenicsworkout
Thankyou so much for this tutorial, I nailed both rolls first from.watching this! That said, I do already have a strong core and can do pull ups easily xx

I'm sorry but that is not accessible to beginners by any stretch of the imagination. Beginners like me don't even have rings!
