My mother loved the way I loved her. She loved the way I chased after her love, and she also loves to knock me down when she sees me thriving. I haven't spoken to her in nearly two years now, and I feel so much better mentally that she is no longer planting seeds of doubt in my head.

in my culture it's believed that you need your parents for everything.. meaning if u go no contact, you're not going to go forward with your life or your goals. almost like your parents can hinder your success...I was told that by almost everyone when I told them that I want NOTHING to do with my narcissistic parents. idk what to think anymore 🧍🏽♀️has anyone else been told that and did their life actually become sh*tty?!
