had a choking on christmas, eating dinner with the fam bro started choking on steak and he excused himself to the bathroom to cough. when he never came back family went to check on him and he was already unconscious.

Got a rapid in ICU once- dude choked on a sausage patty. Doc literally pulled a near full sized sausage patty out of one of his bronchials. She had to cut it up slightly to get it up through the tube. When we extubated another chunk came out that was sitting above the cuff. Chokings are wacky

I started choking at a restaurant once and I was so embarrassed. I ended up "spitting"it out on the floor. my family still wants to go there and don't understand why I can't go back
