The angel said, “Your name is erased from the Book of Life.” "The angel looked straight at me and said: 'Your name has been removed from the Book of Life.'" In that moment, I froze. You may not believe it—but I truly dreamed I was kept out of Heaven’s gate. I grew up in church—praying, worshipping, serving, doing all the “right” things. Honestly, I thought I was “good enough” to get into Heaven. I wasn’t perfect, but who is? Then I had a dream. A dream that shattered my confidence. In the dream, I was standing at Heaven’s gate. People were lined up, and there was a holy, solemn atmosphere. One by one, angels checked names in the Book of Life. I saw my pastor, and my closest believing friends. I thought, they’re definitely getting in—but they didn’t. The angel shook his head and led them away. They were crying, pleading. I’ll never forget that feeling of despair. Then it was my turn. I stepped up, full of confidence: "I sing at church, I pray, and I’ve even led youth group sometimes." The angel looked at me and said: "Your name was once here, but it has been erased." I stood stunned. I said, “How can that be? I believe in Jesus! I read the Bible!” Then he held up something like a mirror—and I saw: Me speaking badly about others behind their backs. Me always asking God for blessings, but never asking Him to change my life. Me reading His Word, but not obeying it. Me lying for personal gain, snapping at my family, Jealousy and comparison in my heart, Living in sin all week, while pretending to be spiritual on Sundays. I looked like a Christian on the outside—but my heart was far from God. I cried out, “Please let me in! I repent now! I’ll change!” But the angel shook his head: “You were given many chances, but you kept delaying.” I woke up in tears. I knew that wasn’t just a dream—it was a warning. The Bible says, “Without holiness, no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14) I always thought “religious activity” was enough, But God wants a life that’s transformed and set apart.
