Hey can u give me advice on what to do with my cat since her mental health is destroyed cause we got a new kitten and she's been growling and barking and hissing at us and i want both cats Mixing litter boxes ain't an option since that kitten is a newborn(3 weeks old) and my older cat doent want anyone near her or else she hiss and growl and attack and the older one met the small kitten and the older one hit the young one and i feel the older one will never recover from that hissing and growling and attacking and with the love both equally and reassure the older cat it is not working cause the older cat is hiding now and she is terrified and hostile i need help please

I’ve had a new kitten for a week now, my 3 year old boy won’t even come back in the house 😢 he’s slowly getting interested and looking through the door at her but I’m so upset it’s stressed him out so much, is this normal and will it get better? X
